2. Description of the service

Extrapify provides a developer-focused API that helps customers convert webpage content into structured JSON based on customer-supplied schemas and requests.

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid changes that materially reduce paid access that has already been delivered.

3. Eligibility, accounts, and API keys

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, requesting access, or making a purchase. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account, dashboard access, and API keys.

You must keep your login credentials and API keys confidential and notify us promptly at contact@extrapify.com if you suspect unauthorized use or a security incident affecting your account.

4. Customer responsibilities and third-party content

You are responsible for the URLs, schemas, prompts, data, and instructions you submit to the Service. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to access, process, and use the content you submit or direct us to retrieve.

You are also responsible for complying with applicable laws, third-party terms, robots directives, and website access restrictions. You must not use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights, violate privacy rights, or collect or process data unlawfully.

5. Pricing, credits, payment, and taxes

Unless we state otherwise in writing, prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Standard self-serve plans are prepaid credit packs, sold as one-time purchases rather than recurring subscriptions.

One successful extraction consumes one credit. Purchased credits do not expire solely because time passes, but credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be used for the Service while your account remains active and in good standing.

You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, value-added, withholding, or similar taxes, excluding taxes based on Extrapify's net income.

6. Delivery, cancellation, and refund policy

The Service is delivered digitally. After a successful payment, purchased credits or access are typically made available electronically without physical shipment.

Because standard plans are prepaid and non-recurring, you may stop using the Service at any time. Ending use of the Service does not automatically create a refund right for credits already delivered or used.

• Unused standard credits purchased directly from Extrapify may be eligible for refund review if you contact contact@extrapify.com within 14 days of purchase.
• Used credits, partially used credit packs, custom plans, enterprise arrangements, and promotional credits are non-refundable unless required by law or agreed by us in writing.
• If a payment is charged back, reversed, or reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, we may suspend access while the matter is resolved.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service in a way that is illegal, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or interferes with the operation of the Service or another person's rights.

• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Do not use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content.
• Do not use the Service to scrape or process content where you do not have a lawful basis or permission to do so.
• Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

8. Service availability, outputs, and disclaimers

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every target webpage can be retrieved or parsed successfully.

Structured outputs generated by the Service may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them in production, commerce, compliance, or customer-facing workflows.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

9. Intellectual property

Extrapify and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including our software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.

You retain any rights you have in your own data and inputs. By submitting data or instructions to the Service, you grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, and use that data to provide and improve the Service.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, failed to pay amounts due, or used the Service unlawfully or abusively.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment, refund, intellectual property, disclaimer, and liability provisions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Extrapify will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Extrapify's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Extrapify for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
